About Lauren J. McCallion, Esq. - Associate Attorney
Lauren J. McCallion started working with the Law Offices of Susan Taxin Baer as an associate attorney in August of 2011. Lauren prepares and drafts estate planning documents for clients, including, but not limited to, simple and complex Wills, Trust documents, Health Care Proxies, Living Wills, and Powers of Attorney. In addition, she handles all aspects of probate and estate and trust administration including the preparation of estate tax, fiduciary income tax, and gift tax returns.
Lauren also represents individuals, estate administrators and executors, and business entities in the purchase, sale or transfer of residential properties, including private homes, cooperative apartments, and condominium units.
Lauren handles the organization, establishment, operation, and "winding up" of both profit and non-profit corporations and limited liability companies (LLCs) within the State of New York.
Lauren has been appointed on numerous occasions as a guardian ad litem by the Surrogate's Court of Westchester County in connection with probate and other Surrogate Court matters, affecting the interests of incapacitated, minors or "unknown" parties.
Prior to joining the firm, Lauren was an associate attorney for four and a half years, practicing trust and estates, wills, real estate, and corporate law. She also has experience in retail leasing and sub-leasing.
